How to use this hub
- Start with the level you are studying. Each level page has the full lesson material and links to its free manual.
- Watch the video. These are the same free lessons embedded on the level pages, and none of them plays automatically.
- Read the manual. The three manuals are free PDFs you can study offline at your own pace.
- Request your free attunement. Attunements are free on request and arranged by email; prepare your request when you are ready.
- Choose a certificate only if you want one. Certificates are optional paid purchases. They do not unlock extra lessons or replace the time you spend practising.
Learn Reiki Level 1
Level 1 is the foundation of the course: the story and principles of Reiki, energy awareness, self-treatment, the hand positions and the beginning of a personal practice. You do not need any previous attunement or experience to start here.

Learn Reiki Level 2
Level 2 moves into the traditional Reiki symbols, focused and distance practice, and a wider use of Reiki. The course advises receiving the Level 1 attunement first, with a break of about 21 days to 3 months before the Level 2 attunement.

Learn Reiki Level 3 / Master
Level 3 brings the earlier study together with the Master and teacher material. The course describes the first- and second-level attunements and at least a year of Reiki practice before Master study. Many students complete this level for their own practice rather than to teach.

What the course includes
- The lessons and videos: free to watch and study at your own pace.
- The three manuals: free PDF downloads for each level.
- The attunements: free on request, arranged by email, one for each level and including the Reiki Power Symbol and Reiki Distance Symbol as taught in the course, whether or not you buy a certificate.
- A certificate for each level: an optional, paid personal record. Buying one is not required in order to study the course or to request an attunement.
Who teaches the course and issues the certificates
Reiki Grandmaster Christopher Goodman is the teacher of this course and the person who issues the certificates today. He took over the school and guides the free lessons, the attunements and the certification.
Reiki Grandmaster Bala Lakshmana founded the course and has since retired. The school's earlier material records that he built the classes and the healing centre on his practice from 1991, and that his background included healing, Feng Shui, crystal, chakra and sound work. That is the school's history: it describes the founder and the school's past, not the teacher who runs the course today.
