What Is Karuna Ki?

Why would you want to study Karuna Ki Reiki? Karuna Ki Reiki assists others on a profound level and allows us to maintain a cleansed and healed vessel as we grow.

Karuna encourages us to take ownership of our thoughts, feelings, and actions. It enables us to work with all aspects of ourselves and reveal and accept even the shadow aspects of ourselves, or aspects we have labeled as a shadow, to bring them into the light for healing. We will then revert to a more complete, healthy self or our original state of being.

Karuna Ki enables us to love and respect ourselves unconditionally and extend that unconditional love and respect to others.

By assisting ourselves in rising, we can help others increase and reclaim their joy, wisdom, and compassionate action.

What Is Karuna Ki?

Karuna Ki Reiki

Karuna Ki translates as Compassionate energy, or more precisely, "The Way of Compassionate Energy." It is healing and disseminating the Creator's Compassion to all people and creation. It is "being" God's compassion, as St. Paul instructs us to do or as Kuan Yin exemplifies. Karuna Ki is a healing technique that is centered on the heart. It is a compassionate healing art that is centered on love and compassion. It is most effective when you concentrate on the loving compassion of all creation coursing through you. The term "Compassionate Heart Reiki" is the most accurate description. Whether you conceptualize this in terms of St. Paul's call to be the "Compassion of God" or the "Compassionate Heart of Jesus," or in terms of Buddhist practices associated with Kuan Yin, the goddess of compassion, the result is the same. Attunements are given to connect to and become this "Source's Compassion." They are truly selfless, and a joy to do and receive. Karuna Ki is quite specific in its definition of compassion in this passage. And it is not just about healing others; it is about spreading compassion throughout the world and universe in everything we do. Karuna Ki's meditations are intended to cultivate and spread this compassion throughout the universe.

It must be stated unequivocally here that this is not a religion. This is a healing art and meditative practice that aims to increase one's capacity for compassion. Spreading compassion and love is always a worthwhile and wondrous endeavor in and of itself. The practice of contemplating, cultivating, and disseminating compassion is found in many religious faiths worldwide. Christian mystics such as St. Ignatius Loyola and St. Francis used meditation (contemplation) and imagery to connect with the sacred heart of Jesus and God's compassion. This was part of their close relationship with God. Numerous practices aimed at cultivating compassion are included in Tibetan Buddhist practices. The Tonglen, the chant "Om Mani Padme Hum," and the Bodhicitta are three of the most notable. One meditates in the Tonglen to fill and warm one's heart with compassion and spread it throughout the world. Om Mani Padme Hum is a mantra of compassion and love. The Bodhicitta is a path of compassion cultivation based on the belief that because there are a finite number of reincarnating souls, we have all been a mother to another numerous time. As there is no greater love on earth than that of a mother for her child, we should strive to reflect and share that love with everyone at all times.

We are healed through pure love, and we are all one in the love of the Source.

Guided Meditation To Help Heal The Shadow Self Can Change Your Life

The shadow self refers to the aspects of ourselves that have been repressed into the unconscious — the aspects of ourselves that we are insecure about, ashamed of, or frustrated with. The shadow self-concept is based on the idea that we metaphorically bury those aspects of our personalities that we fear will not be accepted, accepted, or loved by others; thus, we keep them in the shadows.
