Shuchu & Mawashi Reiki - Japanese Techniques Involving A Group Of Practitioners To Improve Reiki Healing

Shuchu ReikiReiki Mawashi

We will talk about two Japanese techniques involving a group of practitioners to improve Reiki healing. Here in this article, you will see how to do these two techniques.

Shuchu Reiki

This is a method for providing a group treatment or concentrated Reiki to someone. It is frequently used during a Reiki course, Reiki meetings, or healing circles. Ideally, it should follow the Mawashi, which ensures that the group of Practitioners channels Reiki as effectively and strongly as possible. The concept is that when two or more Practitioners operate on the same client, the Reiki energy is concentrated exponentially, and the Reiki is enhanced with each new Practitioner.

The meaning of the name Shuchu Reiki:

Shuchu: concentrate/concentration, focus, center

Reiki: spiritual energy

  • A massage table with pillows under the head and knees and a blanket to cover the client/recipient is ideal, but if you don't have one, you may adapt accordingly.
  • A hands-on treatment is performed by two or more Reiki Practitioners, using all of the standard hand positions. There will be a greater flow of energy if there are more persons working together since more hand positions may be covered at once. For the highest and greatest advantage of the person they are treating, all Practitioners should seek to channel Reiki for the individual's well-being and health.
  • Upon completion of the treatment, all Practitioners Gassho, express gratitude for the Reiki, and bow respectfully.

The name Reiki Mawashi means:

Reiki: spiritual energy

Mawashi: round, game, revolve, current

This Reiki circle technique can assist in sensitizing a group of Reiki Practitioners to the sensation of energy flow. All Reiki Practitioners, whether seated or standing, create a circle.

  • Everyone joins hands, beginning with their left hand beneath (to receive) and their right hand above (to give) (to send).
  • While maintaining the same under or over posture, slowly release your hands but maintain a distance of 2 to 5 cm (1 to 2 in) on each side from your partners, so that the circle remains full energetically but no one touches anyone else.
  • The procedure will begin with someone in the circle declaring loudly that Reiki should flow, and then each participant will begin sending Reiki down their right arm and into the upturned left hand of the person to their right, so that it circulates counterclockwise around the circle. As each individual joins in, the Reiki flows from hand to hand, creating a strong current of energy that should last several minutes, or longer if desired.
  • When the leader determines that sufficient time has been provided for that direction of flow, each individual positions their hands in such a way that their left hand is above and their right hand is below. The leader declares aloud once more that Reiki should flow, and each individual allows the current to run clockwise for several minutes, or longer if desired.
  • You may notice that the current is rather powerful at times, to the point that the entire group feels the desire to swing counterclockwise or clockwise like a large spiraling vortex; thus, if you are standing, it is essential to keep your feet slightly apart to maintain balance.
  • Because so much energy will have been created by the end of the procedure, it is a good idea to intend as a group that the energy flow down each person's legs and feet into the earth, promoting the planet's healing and also assisting everyone in "grounding." Finally, each participant should clap their hands multiple times to disrupt the circle's connections and bring it to an end. Then, with your hands in the Gassho (prayer) posture, mentally express gratitude for the Reiki, bending slightly in reverence. Following that, you should all notice that your Reiki energies are quite strong, making this a great opportunity to do group or individual Reiki treatments on one another.

These two procedures, which include a group of Practitioners, help boost the effectiveness of Reiki treatment. It also makes sure that the group of Practitioners channels Reiki as efficiently and powerfully as possible. In the case of two or more Practitioners working on the same client, the Reiki energy is concentrated exponentially. The Reiki is strengthened with each additional Practitioner, according to the theory.

Chanting And Toning With Karuna Reiki

The Karuna Reiki experience taught me that toning or chanting during a Karuna Reiki session causes profound shifts in the healing energy's vibrational frequency. The Mahayana Buddhist tradition of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvhara, who creates the Sound that Illuminates the World, validates this notion.

The Ethics Of Distant Reiki Healing

The Second Degree procedures teach you how to transmit powerful healing to anybody, anywhere, at any time, including the past and future. Using the Distant (Connection) Symbol helps you to construct a bridge between you and the person (or animal) you wish to heal.

Guided Meditation To Help Heal The Shadow Self Can Change Your Life

The shadow self refers to the aspects of ourselves that have been repressed into the unconscious — the aspects of ourselves that we are insecure about, ashamed of, or frustrated with. The shadow self-concept is based on the idea that we metaphorically bury those aspects of our personalities that we fear will not be accepted, accepted, or loved by others; thus, we keep them in the shadows.

Integrative And Functional Medicine —Personalized Care For The 21st Century

The goal of integrative and functional medicine is to get to the root cause of health problems and treat the whole person with a combination of approaches—optimizing health for those who have it and restoring health for those who have lost it. Integrative medicine and functional medicine are often used interchangeably, but the terms are actually referring to two different approaches to patient care.

The Karuna Reiki Attunements

A common belief is that compassionate action is captured in this non-traditional form of Reiki. When used in conjunction with Usui Reiki, it has a powerful effect on its own, but even more so.

The Traditional Karuna Reiki Attunements

Karuna is typically only taught to Usui Reiki Master practitioners. There are four levels of Karuna instruction. There are four levels of mastery in this system: two for practitioners and two for masters.

For those wishing to view the original Sai Baba attunement process in order to compare it to later attunements, these are included for informational purposes only. You will notice a resemblance between these and the attunements developed later.
