Set roles, observe an agreed exercise and close it clearly.
Use a simple, agreed exercise
For this teaching rehearsal, facilitate a short Level 1-style seated practice rather than an attunement. Choose a willing pair and, if available, an observer. Explain that the purpose is practising instructions, communication and closing. The activity can use hovering or a no-touch personal rehearsal. No one needs to produce a sensation or disclose personal material.
Assign roles clearly: one person offers the practice, one receives or observes as a partner, and the teacher watches the agreed communication skill. If you have no group, rehearse the instructions aloud and imagine where a learner might need clarification.
Keep the observation manageable
You cannot closely observe several pairs and answer an unrelated question at the same time. For a first rehearsal, use one pair or stagger turns. If the group is larger than you can support, simplify the activity. Learners should know where to take a question rather than assume that silence means you have checked their practice.
After the exchange, ask the pair to name one clear instruction and one point they would change. Use those answers to revise your facilitation, rather than only evaluating the learners.
